Lead ingot is a high-purity cast metal block of lead (chemical symbol Pb), usually with a purity up to 99.97%. It features high density, soft texture, low melting point and good corrosion resistance. Standard lead ingots are made by melting and casting raw lead into regular rectangular shapes for easy storage, transportation and remelting. Widely applied in lead-acid batteries, cable sheathing, radiation shielding, industrial counterweights and alloy manufacturing, it serves as a fundamental raw material in modern industry.

Lead sheet is a kind of radiation protection material. It is pure raw material with high level of lead content (99.994%). It is widely used in the hospital X ray room, car bettery, electricity, construction and other industrial area.

Lead sheet can be manufactured to required purity levels or as alloys of Antimony and Tin with defined properties. This can be specified so that the lead ingots meet the application requirements.

Care should be taken when casting with lead.
